diversity advisory board

purpose:

• to monitor irem’s efforts to attract and welcome a diverse membership – with a focus on ethnic diversity - to irem through career advancement, education, and certification, and make appropriate recommendations for adjustments to irem diversity program(s) as needed
• to serve the irem foundation’s mission to support initiatives developed by irem and delivered through its chapters in the area of diversity

composition:

• chair
• vice chair
• at least five other members, who shall represent a diversity of membership
• all serve one-year term

desired qualifications:

• knowledge of irem programs and services
• knowledge of or experience with diversity programs
